PRINTCertification Exam
The CSRT offers two sittings every year of the National Certification Examination in respiratory therapy. Completed applications and fees for the certification examination must be received by the application due date. Incomplete applications will not be processed; all fees and relevant documents must accompany the application.
There are two sittings of the CSRT National Certification Exam each year – on the first non-holiday Monday in January and the first non-holiday Monday in July.
The next sitting of the National Exam is January 10, 2011. Application deadline is November 15, 2010.

Candidates will receive their results and competency profile from the CBRC by mail within 90 days of the exam. Results will not be given by telephone.
