Certification ExamThe CSRT offers two sittings every year of the National Certification Examination in respiratory therapy. Completed applications and fees for the certification examination must be received by the application due date. Incomplete applications will not be processed; all fees and relevant documents must accompany the application. There are two sittings of the CSRT National Certification Exam each year – on the first non-holiday Monday in January and the first non-holiday Monday in July – the next exam will be held on January 11, 2010. For eligibility requirements for the CSRT National Certification Examination click here. Candidates will receive their results and competency profile from the CBRC by mail within 90 days of the exam. Results will not be given by telephone.
