Presentation summary:
The need for malpractice protection has never been greater for healthcare professionals such as Respiratory Therapists. A liability claim can be financially devastating without adequate insurance to protect the professional involved. Even a false or frivolous allegation can result is extensive defense costs. Respiratory Therapists who secure liability insurance through CSRT receive coverage that best protects them during such circumstances and provides professionals with legal representation regardless of the place they work. This presentation will discuss and explain the malpractice insurance coverage available to Respiratory Therapists with CSRT. Claims scenarios will also be presented including the process of a claim situation and legal process. In addition, several risk management steps will be presented that can be used to mitigate the frequency and severity of such incidences.
