Simulated Trauma and Resuscitation Team Training
This 8-hour multidisciplinary course teaches crisis resource management (CRM) training using a combination of simulation and didactic teaching. It is open to respiratory therapists and covers communication and leadership skills, effective use of resources, situational awareness and problem solving, and how to enhance completion of tasks. Dalhousie School of Health Sciences offers a Bachelors of Health Science in Respiratory Therapy. A 2 year post-diploma degree (60-credit hours) is available to RTs interested in completing a baccalaureate degree and is offered entirely online. Graduates from Respiratory Therapy at St. Clair College are eligible for a new degree completion program at the University of Windsor (Liberal Arts and Professional Studies).
