February 10, 2020Cancellation of CSRT Annual Conference 2020 due to COVID-19

UPDATED MARCH 13, 2020: The CSRT recognizes the growing speculation over potential impacts of COVID-19 in Canada, and the recent World Health Organization (WHO) declaration of a pandemic.We are also aware of the current measures put in place by the Government of Quebec for the next 30 days. As the 2020 Annual Conference scheduled for May occurs outside this timeframe there are currently no changes planned. At this time we continue to anticipate another successful conference in Montreal, QC in May 2020. Should this period be extended or other measures put in place the CSRT will reevaluate and act accordingly. We appreciate your patience as we navigate next steps in light of the evolving information relating to the COVID-19s pandemic.
The CSRT is performing daily risk assessments and carefully monitoring all national and local public health agencies for updates and recommendations, including those issued by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC). The health and well-being of CSRT members, the public, conference participants, and our partners is a top priority for the CSRT.
The CSRT will continue to evaluate the situation and provide updates on this website based on all information available.
