Robert Merry Excellence in Education Award

CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

  • The CSRT is seeking nominations for the Robert Merry Excellence in Education Award. This award was created to honour Robert Merry who made significant contributions in the field of education in respiratory therapy. The award recognizes RTs who have made a significant contribution to the practice of RT Education and/or have influenced others toward high levels of achievement in RT education.

  • Using the Eligibility/Criteria, please provide a description of the specific qualifications and accomplishments that would make this person a candidate for the Robert Merry Excellence in Education Award. You may attach the Nominee’s CV or include additional information as an attachment to this online form.

    Eligibility/Criteria:
    RTs who are members (registered or associate) in good standing of the CSRT, who have made outstanding contributions:

    • Made significant contributions to the practice of RT education and/or;
    • Influenced others towards high levels of achievement in RT education.
    • Recipient may have made contributions to RT educational practice in a range of settings, including but not limited to:
      • Classroom
      • Laboratory
      • Clinical education/preceptorship
      • Professional development
      • Research
      • Administration/policy
