Accreditation of Anesthesia Assistant Programs
Accreditation of anesthesia assistant/anesthesia clinical assistant (AA/ACA) programs is performed by an interprofessional accreditation review team on behalf of the CSRT. FULL ACCREDITATION
ACCREDITATION WITH CONDITIONS
- Vancouver General Hospital
(The program is required to report on the addition of new clinical experiences for students (criterion 1.2) and to the formalization of processes relating to criteria 3.1 and 3.3.)
- Fanshawe College
(The program is required to report on measures taken to analyze and use outcome data to support continuous program improvement (criterion 4.4).)
- Thompson Rivers University
(The program is required to report on orientation processes for new clinical sites (criteria 1.2, 3.3) and on outcome data pending for newly-revised courses.)
PROVISIONAL ACCREDITATION*
There are currently no programs under this accreditation
*Note that program with this status have demonstrated that they are designed In a manner that ensures students attain the competencies outlined in the National Competency Framework and that they have quality assurance processes in place. They have not yet undergone a full accreditation site visit.
